How can I determine if a program was started by the IDE ? We use a library which crashes the program only if it was started by the IDE. thanks Klaus Skibowski

However, you can detect whether the program is running under the context of a debugger (any debugger) in general. There is an IsDebuggerPresent() function for that purpose. Gambit
