Does this make any sense at all
.Start(szUrl: PWideChar; etc....
{
if Pos('http://' + NameSpace + '/', LowerCase(szUrl)) <> 1
then Result := INET_E_USE_DEFAULT_PROTOCOLHANDLER
}
This string is sent: 'http://testprogram/page1.htm'
Yet the code is checking for the same string, what i see thats going
on is
if(szUrl == szUrl)
Am i wrong in my assumption, because from what i see its just checking
the
entire string for the same value.

It's comparing "http://testprogram/" against "http://testprogram/page1.htm" (assuming Namespace is set to "testprogram"). Those are certainly not the same string value. It looks like it is checking to see if the NameSpace string is contained inside the specified URL, to see whether the specified URL falls inside the NameSpace or not. Gambit
