You may use WMI clas Win32_Process. It has number of properties that return what you need: KernelModeTime, UserModeTime, VirtualSize, PageFileUsage etc. There is a component for Delphi/C++Builder that is a wrapper around Win32_Process: http://www.online-admin.com/wmiset.html#TWmiProcessControl It has an example project in C++Builder. Hope this helps, Serguei "Seabass" <sbsoftea@yahoo.com> wrote: >hey everyone, >i hope this is a simple question: >is there a winapi function, that will let me get the CPU and Ram usage of my >application? >thanx alot > >Seabass > >

thanx alot, yeah i think that will help =) now, i got another question: is there an API function or something that will let an application dialup the internet connection? and if yes, would it be possible to dial it, before the user logs in? I am assuming no, because it would be a big security risk, but you never know.. i am planning to write and NT Service, that automatically dials in once it is started. thanx alot Seabass
