I use bcb 5, Win98
Does bcb have any method to pack (compressed) and unpack files (*.mdb)?

IIRC *.mdb are MS Access files, you need to use the TADOConnection component
to connect to this type of database

For creating and extracting *.zip type files look for TZipBuilder component
on

Hy Roger!

I dowload TZipBuilder 1.72, but I have any problems.
When I run the CDemo1, the error is "Unable to open file 'SORTGRD.LIB' "
Please read me how can I fix it

As I answered on your personal mail box
remove the SortGrd.Lib entries from the
LIBRARIES and SPARELIBS sections of the .bpr files

This is a remnant from earlier version of the demo's when
a SortGrid component was used.
SortGrid is replaced by TStringGrid, but I forgot to update the
.bpr files and the linker did not complain on my machine
because the I have the SortGrid component still installed
