Is it possible to retrieve internet data (WWW) in my program? To be precise, I need the pictures from http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3APrefixindex&from=BSic&namespace=6 Since these may change, I want to retrieve them while the program executes. -- Jos

You want to download the .svg files mentioned on that page? That is possible. In different ways. You could use a HTTP component to download the page. Then parse the pagesource to extract all the url's of the .svg files. Then use the same HTTP component to download the .svg files. You could use T(Cpp)WebBrowser to download the page. T(Cpp)WebBrowsr has a method to give you all the url's of the links on that page. After that download the .svg. Hans.

Unfortunately, both terms - HTTP component and T(Cpp)WebBrowser - are meaningless to me. The help file isn't helpful either. Please help me further. -- Jos

Please have a look in: borland.public.cppbuilder.internet.web borland.public.cppbuilder.internet.socket borland.public.cppbuilder.vcl.components.using There are many questions about such and these components there.
