Hello (Sorry if wrong group!) I'm trying to record sound. I would like to record ANY sound played in my sound card. Is it possible using mciSendCommand / "waveaudio" / MCI_RECORD? Is there a better (easier) way? --

If you are just looking to capture music through your sound card, TotalRecorder already does this. If no one here can point you along your way, you might want to see if TotalRecorder (or someplace similar) has any forums. I tried to record what was playing in WinAmp, but I got an wav file with "silence" (size was about 900k, but no sound). Do you know if there's some trick (like select record source or...)? Seems Google could't help this time :( -- "Michel Leunen" <nospam@noreply.be> escreveu na mensagem news:45c315f7$1@newsgroups.borland.com... > wrote: > >> I'm trying to record sound. I think you've to select the output of the mixer. Look in the Multimedia Help file for anything related to the mixer. I've never done this myself but it *must* be possible. Did you look at the Boian Mitov's components? Michel -- ---------------------------------------- Michel Leunen mailto: see my homepage.
