Is there a way to determine which window is receiving keyboard events? I have an application that I have written and at times my keyboard shortcuts don't work even though the application has focus. I have an ActiveX control on the form which I think is causing the problem, but I don't have a way to verify this.

Keyboard messages are usually posted, not sent. When a message is removed from the message queue, the MSG structure contains a HWND specifying the window that the message was posted to. If the HWND is NULL, then the message was posted to the thread itself instead of a specific window that is owned by the thread. You can use the TApplication::OnMessage event to intercept messages that are received in the message queue. Gambit
