Hi,
can someone tell me how I can find the id number of an icon stored
inside a .res file?
I don't use Vista so I can't use the IconInfoEx structure.
Thanks in advance.

Have you considered EnumResourceNames() ?
Or one of the other EnumRes...()

I can't find any reference to IconInfoEx.
Did you perhaps mean ICONINFOEX ?

From the rest of your question, it sounds like you
are trying to get out of ICONINFOEX...
	wResID
Specifies the icon or cursor resource bits.
but that doesn't sound like what you are asking for.

msdn sounded like what you're saying but the name of the field is
misleading.
Thanks again.

Looks like the resource I need to access doesn't have an ID so
EnumResourceNames didn't help.
Oh well, it means I'll have to use the resource name and to modify some
code...
