Fow to create a full screen application?

Hi

I'm writing a small application and I would really like it if I could make
the application cover the full screen including the taskbar. I've had a
look on Google and only come up with code like the following

Form1->FormStyle = fsStayOnTop;
 Form1->Width = Screen->Width;
 Form1->Height = Screen->Height;
 Form1->BorderStyle = bsNone;
 Form1->Top = 0;
 Form1->Left = 0;
//and to hide the taskbar "FindWindow gets the handle of the taskbar"
 ShowWindow(FindWindow("Shell_TrayWnd", NULL), SW_HIDE);

//to show the taskbar again
 ShowWindow(FindWindow("Shell_TrayWnd", NULL), SW_SHOW); Form1->FormStyle =
fsStayOnTop;

But I really am not comfortable with hiding the user's taskbar in this way.
Is there another way?

My app is a standard BCB6 VCL app.

Best regards

Well I can't believe it, just setting window state to wsmaximized and border
style to bsnone works on XP.

I'm sure I tested this approach in the past without success.

Anyway, thanks.

Does it works even if you set your appbar setting: keep allways on top?
