Writting a DLL to be used by MFC app.

Is it possible to write a VCL DLL that can be used in an MFC app? I have
a window that is used to display an embedded app in an MFC style
application. The MFC application loads a DLL and then the DLL displays
what it needs to in a window.

Of course. You can use the VCL all you want inside the DLL, but just don't
expose anything from your exported functions that is Borland-specific. No
__fastcall, no VCL parameters, no VCL return values. Use only POD (plain
old data ) types (int, char*, etc) when you need to exchange data between
the DLL and application.

The VCL allows its controls to appear in non-VCL parent windows. That is
what the TWinControl::ParentWindow property is for.

Thanks for that. Can you give me any pointers on how to set up a
C++Builder project to do that? Would a form with no border or
frame be best?
