Hello



I open 2 child windows. I make them partially cover each other, so I can 
click on their title bars.

Let's say child window #1 is active.

When I click on child window #2 title bar, the title bar and border of the 
child window #2 appears over the child window #1 for about 1 second.  Then 
child window #2 is brought to the foreground.



I would like to eliminate this delay.



How can I get this delay?

How can I reset this delay to 0?



I unsuccessfully tried

SystemParametersInfo(SPI_SETFOREGROUNDLOCKTIMEOUT, 0, NULL, 
SPIF_SENDWININICHANGE | SPIF_UPDATEINIFILE);

I don't know if that function will fix your
problem, but you are using it wrong.
Check the return value and GetLastError().

You have pvParam == NULL.
Try
UINT	Param = 0;
SystemParametersInfo(SPI_SETFOREGROUNDLOCKTIMEOUT, 0, &Param,
