I have an appbar form, i dumped all the code from the local help of BCB 6.0
 i need to implete auto hide feature for this form.
I am stuck, how the autohide works, i mean should i make the

snip:>>

//Handle setting here

abd.cbSize = sizeof(abd);
abd.hWnd = Handle;
abd.lParam = TRUE;
bool HideSuccess = SHAppBarMessage(ABM_SETAUTOHIDEBAR, &abd);
//After this i am calling HideAPPbar function.
HideAppbar();

void TForm1::HideAPPbar()
{
SHAppBarMessage(ABM_QUERYPOS, &abd);
    abd.rc.left = 0
    abd.rc.right = 0;
    abd.rc.top = 0;
    abd.rc.bottom = 0;

        //for top position.
        SHAppBarMessage(ABM_SETPOS, &abd);
        MoveWindow(Handle, 0, 0,
            GetSystemMetrics(SM_CXSCREEN),
            3, TRUE);
}

Is this the correct way to auto hide the appbar.

I have never used the appbar, but form what I can see in the help
I don't think You are suposed to hide it Your self, I think it
will hide it self when it looses it's focus.

That is if You have told the system what edge it belongs to.

abd.cbSize = sizeof(abd);
abd.hWnd = Handle;
abd.lParam = true;

abd.uEdge = ABE_TOP; //********

bool HideSuccess = SHAppBarMessage(ABM_SETAUTOHIDEBAR, &abd);

Just my gues.

Kind regards
Asger
