See if this helps to clear up some terminology...

A Class is like a cookie cutter; it is the pattern from which you cut out
cookies (Objects).

You design a Class by defining what properties and methods you want to see
in each of the Objects you will create from that Class.

An Object is a particular instance of a Class, e.g. 'Joe Bloggs' is an
object of the class TPerson, 'ABC Mining' is an instance of the class
Company, etc.

A Structure is not an Object, but more correctly an Object is a Structure,
in that it is essentially a record that can contain methods as well as
properties.

You can also use a Class without an Object, if you declare Class Variables
or Class Methods; these provide what is called Singleton behaviour, in that
they act on the one single 'cookie cutter' rather than each individual
'cookie'.
