I need to be able to have a way to return recordsets sometimes, and the ability to execute sql statments to different databases the application interacts with. Any suggestions? I just don't want to have to take functions on one form and cut and paste them into another, I could do that to hack it together, but don't want to have the maintainence probs later. Also if this matters, I am using various structs to pass to functions as parms. Thanks in advance. > Steve DLL's are no solution to your problem. DLL's are usefull when you want to share code between multiple applications. When you need cartain functionality in more then one form try to move the functionality to a global function or another class. Eelke
