This is usually because D4 (the BCB4's VCL version) introduced a true unsigned
32 bit integer.  Most Win API calls are DWORD.  In Delphi 3 and earlier an
Integer cound be passed becuase they were the same type.  In D4 (and there for
BCB4) a DWORd is not thesame tpye as an Integer.  Change the integer
declarations to DWORd and that will usually clear this up.

If it is a C++ component make sure that it is using hte PACKAGE macro in its
declaration to export the component properly.
