OLE interfaces and arrays

I am trying to access a function defined in an OLE Server. The function
is generated by the type library editor with the prototype..

    getValues (TVariant *, TVariant *, TVariant *).

My problem? Am not sure what to pass. The function is supposed to be
returning three variable length arrays in each, the first two containing
strings, the third doubles. I have tried a variety of approaches (variant
arrays etc.) but keep getting memory corruption so am obviously doing
something wrong. All the examples I've seen show how to pass data in an
array, but not receive it (and it appears to require a subtly different
approach). Any sample code or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for any help,

    John Campbell
