Hi builders for a couple of days now I tried to debug an application which constantly crashed when opening a query. The problem was at BORLNDMM.DLL, the memory manager, as the call stack indicated. After some "inspections" I finally noticed that the offending dll was the blah\BCB4\BIN\BORLNDMM.DLL rather than the blah\BCB3\BIN\BORLNDMM.DLL. Strange enough since I used BCB3 for the time being. (Yes, I do have all three builders installed in the same machine). The problem was solved after I disabled the link to the dynamic RTL thus forcing the project to link to the BCB3 memory manager. So, the questions are 1/ are there cases where the co-existance of BCB3 and BCB4 can cause problems? 2/ is this a problem with other RTLs as well? Did anybody experience something similar? 3/ is there a way to force my app to dynamically link to the RTL I want? (well, maybe the last two belong to the language group but ... <g>) TIA Denis
