BCB6 to RADStudio2007 - TStaticEdit lost colours

Hi, After several frustrating days I have managed to get my BCB6 program running under 2007, but all TStaticText components have lost the background colours. The values are there in the Proprties in Design view but the colour is not shown in Design view or when running. (Thus if there was no border the things are invisible in design view which is very confusing.) Is this a known bug in 2007? Also, in design view no Alt+ shortcuts are visible EXCEPT on labels where FocusControl applies, i.e, not shown on buttons or radiobuttons, etc, although the &s are there in the properties. They are all visible and work when running. Why is this? Derek
