I notice that third-party components have different install packages for the different Builder versions. I have a number of very useful components for Builder 6 for which there are no Builder 2006-2007 versions. Is it very difficult to convert them myself? I could nowhere find any help of how to do this? Greetings Ad Lagendijk

Yes, because package binaries are version-specific (except in the case of RAD2007, which is binary compatible with BDS2006), and must be compiled using the version they are going to be used with. Also, the format of the package project files themselves have changed over the years from one version to another. > I have a number of very useful components for Builder 6 for > which there are no Builder 2006-2007 versions. > > Is it very difficult to convert them myself? That depends on what the components do. If they are not using version-specific functionality, then you should be able to just create new package projects, add the existing source files to them, and then compile. Gambit
