I am new at wsdl and am having trouble. I have an ACTAtek unit from
Hectrix which provides me with a wsdl file. I am using an HTTPRIO component
to access the device. There are three functions that I am using at the
moment to get things going.
The first *login* works fine - I pass in the two AnsiStrings and get an
int back.
The second *getMyself* I pass the sessionID in and I should get the data
about the current user passed back through parameters, but I don't :(. If I
use an OnAfterExecute event I can see the data I want in the stream coming
back from the unit but the parameters are all NULL after getMyself finishes.
So the data in the stream isn't getting converted back into the function
parameters - I guess, but what to do I have no idea.
The third *openDoor* works, in that when I call the function I hear the
relay in the device toggle, but this is where I get an ESOAPDomConvertError
when the device sends back a response but according to the error message -
SOAP Response Packet: result element expected, received "<openDoorResponse
xmlns="http://www.hectrix.com/ACTAtek.xsd"></openDoorResponse>" - I guess
the code isn't expecting a response at all. Again I don't know where to
begin to sort this.
Any ideas of where to start trying to sort this out ?
virtual sessionID login(const username username, const password password)
= 0;
virtual void getMyself(const sessionID sessionID, AnsiString& userID,
AnsiString& lastName, AnsiString& firstName, AnsiString& otherName,
AdminLevel& adminLevel, bool& usePassword, AnsiString& password, int&
groupID, int& departmentID, FingerprintSecurityLevel&
fingerprintSecurityLevel, Status* status, FingerprintArray& fingerprints,
AnsiString& cardsn) = 0;
virtual status openDoor(const sessionID sessionID, const doorID doorID) =
0;
Thanks,
James
