Hi All,
I am trying to implement a webservices client and am now experimenting
using the THTTPRIO component that comes with c++ builder 6. I am
implementing a small client as per the example on the following website:
http://drbob42.com/kylix/BizSnap5.htm
Loading the webservices, setting the services and ports works fine as
well as all compiles. No errors or warnings. My problem is that I do not
get any data back when doing the remote procedure call.
I implemented the exact same example in Delphi using the same component
and it worked 100%.
what am I doing wrong?
Here is my code: (snippets of it)
#include "ICmInch.h"
void __fastcall TForm1::Button1Click(TObject *Sender)
{
double Cm = 1.0;
double inch = 0.0;
Cm = StrToFloatDef(Edit1->Text,0);
inch = ((ICmInch *)HTTPRIO1)->Cm2Inch(Cm);
Edit2->Text = AnsiString(inch);
}
I included the icminc.cpp in my project and the THTTPRIO component that
I dropped on my for is pointing to wsdllocation of
http://www.drbob42.co.uk/cgi-bin/K2WebService/wsdl/ICmInch
service is set to ICmInchservice
and port is set to ICmInchPort.
Thanks
Werner Deyzel
