I have a simple program that needs to call an http request a few times per second, However I have never called a web address from C++. Is it possible to do this with a simple call? If not, how can I do this? Thanks in advance, Chris

Is this a soap message or a raw HTTP request? If it's soap, then I suggest you take a look at the THTTPRIO component, which will allow you to point to the WSDL of a webservice and generate types and a skeleton required to make use of that webservice on your client. If it's a raw HTTP request you seek, I suggest you take a look at Indy. There are many examples in the form of demos available here: http://www.indyproject.org/Sockets/Demos/index.en.iwp I also suggest that you ask this over on the Indy newsgroups which you can find at: news://news.atozedsoftware.com/atozedsoftware.indy.general chris wrote: > I have a simple program that needs to call an http request a > few times per second, However I have never called a web address > from C++.
