Hi Theo

No sign of cdo.dll on my system

Looked at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/171440/EN-US/ and this says that 
you have to install CDO 1.21 with Outlook 8 and other applications such as 
Exchange 5.5 or 2000. Windows XP is not one of them.

Still at least this explains why the error message - there ain't no CDO 
installed. Just another Microsoft ploy to extract more money from you I 
suppose.
