Hi Theo I am ok with the platform, I am running Widows XP Pro SP2 (and on an Athlon 64 bit machine - that took some doing with SP2!). The problem is acquiring CDO 1.21. You don't get it with Windows XP you have to buy Exchange or Office 2003 and others. And it seems you can't just get the cdo.dll from someone else and add it in yourself, it has to be installed by one of these other programs (at least that what Microsoft say - but maybe there is a way that someone will find) Thanks for your interest Ray "Theo Bebekis" <teo@thinx.gr> wrote in message news:4199ba29@newsgroups.borland.com... > Ray wrote: > >> Hi Theo >> >> No sign of cdo.dll on my system >> >> Looked at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/171440/EN-US/ and this says >> that you have to install CDO 1.21 with Outlook 8 and other applications >> such as Exchange 5.5 or 2000.
