Thanks heaps, I'm very happy with your last mail. I wil read it more carefully (I only took a quick glance as yet)but already doors have started opening ! I'm busy writing the actual program that's gonna get the data I'm looking for and store it in a database or text file. I'll propably store it in a text file for starters. But accessing the website, encoding and putting the HTML in a string is done! That leaves stripping and storing. If that's done I'm gonna start building the service itself, your mail will be a big help. I'll propably run into some problems later on..... Checking the state of the service...Scheduling...Getting it to run with SQL service(dependancy) etc. I'm totally new to newsgroups ....So what's next now? Who owns this mail thread? Should I do something to close it ? Anyway, thanks again, I will be quietly tinkering away for some time to come, but I'll propably won't keep my promise (about leaving you alone forever)!
