metaclass : How to ?

I'm new to C#. I'm porting a program from Delphi where a metaclass is used.
I can find in the docs how to declare a metaclass with C#.

Description on what I need:
In a class, I need a member variable to hold the name of a class which will
be instanciated at runtime.
In Delphi, I use the "class of" construct.

Any help appreciated.

	That's because there isn't one.

You can do this with Activator in any .NET language.

Thank you very much Joanna. Reading your article, it looks like Delphi is
much better than C# when dealing with metaclasses.
