C# design questions

Hello,

I've post a ZIP file in .attachments to support this post.

My basic problem is that I'm studying C# since about a week,
thus my understanding may be wrong.

I've made several two container classes, which will then
become alot more. I'm especially worried about sorting the
collections and the design I gave to the collection class
hierarchy, which sounds a bit weird( but it compiles ).

If you could give me some insight about the code I have
posted, I'll be delighted to delve in further explaination of the
points you think are more relevant.

TIA,

Andrew

These groups are for the support of folks using Borland tools to develop
software.

From the comments at the head of the two modules in binaries you appear to
be using Sharp Develop.

As you do not appear to have paid anything to Borland do you think it is
fair to use their groups?

Who's telling you that I didn't start out using SD and then
switched to any C#Builder version and that I didn't care to
remove those comments since I didn't think they were important?

The behavior of TeamB is getting more and more ridiculous by the minute.
Does Borland really think this is acceptable treatment of its newsgroups
users - whether they are current or just potential customers?

Why would you want to "plonk" one of the designated C# TeamB members?
It's not like there are too many others answering questions in these
groups.

Well, why don't you tell me if you are now using C#Builder, then I will
gladly apologise and allow the repost.

I can only go on what I am presented with in your message.

Marc

Borland allows us to use our discretion in matters of NG etiquette; we are
all prone to make mistakes, but I felt that this was the right decision as
all the signs were that the poster was not using a Borland product and was
simply looking for free advice on using a Microsoft language hosted in an
open source IDE.

Please do not be so desparaging about someone who is giving up her own time
on a Saturday when most consultants are not normally working. If the poster
is genuinely using a Borland product which entitles them to use these
groups, then I will apologise and allow the repost.

Or would you be happy to have all and sundry using your support mechanism
without paying you in any way for your efforts?

Perhaps you are more on tune than most as regards Borland's intentions
for the ng's, and the requirements they have with regard to their
operation, but this action just doesn't seem right. I would have thought
that Borland would be hoping to establish a community space with the
ng's, BDN and CodeCentral for all peoples with an interest in C#.

Anyone can see that you put a lot in, but speaking just a community
member I was really disapponted and gob smacked this action.

How can receipt of payment be a criteria for entry when Borland provide a
free download of their C# IDE ?

My apologies, I had forgotten about the free download, I answered in haste,
but as I have since stated if the original poster wishes to repost, then he
may so do.

Andrew

I have just reviewed you rpostings in these groups and realise you are
regularly contributing on Delphi as well as C#, including in the
delphi.oodesign group.

Please accept my unreserved apology for cancelling your message. Put it down
to an attack of the sillies :-))

Please repost it in a new thread.

Yeah, what made me take such an extreme action( plonk ) was just
that, I've been hanging around here for a long time - and I
honestly felt betrayed.

It's ok, it's ok. If someone didn't tell me of this post,
you'd have been on my kill-file forever :-)
