Mockup Objects?

I'm facing a scenario which is rather common in iterative OO development,
namely the one where objects in your iteration have associations of various
sorts to objects in not yet implemented future iterations.

However, you're supposed to deliver a running system, why mockups of some
kind is needed in order to make things work.

Perhaps I'm looking for the GUI counterpart to XUnit's mockups...

NMock is what I had in mind when I said "XUnit's mockups". However, I haven'
t used NMock in practice. I assumed that NMock was designed for NUnit tests,
not for mockup objects in ordinary runtime.

Looking at the code sample at http://www.nmock.org/ I can't see any reason
why one shouldn't be able to use them outside the NUnit tests.

Thanx!
