Hi. I am trying to get what should be a straightforward function to work
from my Delphi 5 DLL. This exact code has worked when in an OCX.

Function ShowPic:IpictureDisp;stdcall
var outpic:TPicture;
begin
   outpic:=TPicture.create;
   outpic.Loadfromfile('c:\windows\egypt.bmp');//load a bitmap;
    getOlePicture(outpic,result);
end;


Exports  ShowPic;


in VB it looks like this:

  PictureBox.Picture=ShowPic



when I call this from VB, it gets to the line where I make the call to
GetOlePicture and blows up. Again, this is legacy code from another project
I did a few years back, the only differences being that this is in Delphi 5
versus 3, and it is in an exported DLL function as opposed to a property of
an OCX. anyone out there know what I am missing here? My hair is coming out
by the fistful!
