delphi 2006 - is this a bug ?

hi
when i define an itemtemplate in a datagrid like

<a href="details.aspx?id=<%# DataBinder.Eval
(Container.DataItem,"customerid") %>&title=<%#
DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"customerid") %>">Details for <%#
DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "customerid")%></a>

after saving , it becomes
<a
            href="details.aspx?id=<%# DataBinder.Eval (Container.DataItem,"
            customerid= customerid=>Details for <%#
DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "customerid")%></a>


and gives error during compile.

but the same code works in vs2005

please help me

i changed " as ' ... and it works.
is this correct solution ?

is this compatible with all browsers Firefox mozilla opera netscape so on

because i guess typical usage of this tag is like
<a href="x.html">Go to x</a>
