Hi everyone,
I really need some help here please. I have taken the command line compile
options from the IDE in D2005 (i.e. Tools | Options |Show Command Line). I
noticed that the format of it wasn't correct so I have been toying with the
format a bit, however I can't get it to work. No matter what happens I get
an F2039 Could not create output file error. I have a feeling it has
something to do incorrent syntax. I hope you can help. I have been looking
at this for over 3 days now and my eyes are killing me. I have included all
paths for the flags U, O and R in the dcc32.cfg file.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Gordon

This is the bat file I have for the build:

Chances are you don't need the vast majority of the options that the
IDE claims to be using. I suggest that you start out simple and go from
there.

From a command prompt, change to the source directory and try:

  dcc32 admGeneral.dpr

What happens? If it can't find some units add the appropriate paths as
needed to the dcc32.cfg file and try again.

Of course! Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees. Thanks Mike, I
will give this a try and see what happens. Everytime I run the bat file I
prey to see that exe appear.
