First the error: Fatal: F1026 File not found: 'components1.dcu'
I'm using Delphi 2006. My design time package is in a folder with the
components in sub folders like this:
c:\mypackage\mypackageDesign.dpk
c:\mypackage\component1\component1.pas
c:\mypacakge\component2\component2.pas
c:\mypackage\component3\component3.pas
The contains section looks like:
contains
component1 in 'component1\component1.pas',
component2 in 'component2\component2.pas',
component3 in 'component3\component3.pas;
This compiles and installs fine in the IDE. Now I have two versions
of this package which I'd like to use with two different versions of a
win32 project. I'm trying to find a way to switch back and forth
between the two packages being active in the IDE. The two packages
have the same name and contain mostly the same components with some
changes to support two different versions of the projects they're part
of. So not finding anything else that works, I'm trying to set up a
scenario where I shut down Delphi, then run a batch file to switch to
compile and switch to the right package. The compile would be done by
dcc32.exe if I could get it to work. I have been trying many
different options and paths in the .cfg file and haven't got anything
working yet.
Here's what the relevant parts of my cfg are now (shortened a lot):
-LE"c:\mypackage"
-LN"c:\mypackage"
-N"c:\mypackage"
-N0"c:\mypackage"
-U"c:\mypackage";"c:\mypackage\component1"
-O"c:\mypackage";"c:\mypackage\component1"
-I"c:\mypackage";"c:\mypackage\component1"
-R"c:\mypackage";"c:\mypackage\component1"
Anybody else have ideas?
Jim

I have used the following syntax without problems on different PC's and it works -LE"..\..\Common" -LN"..\..\Common" -U"..;..\ActiveX Controls;..\..\Common" -O"..;..\ActiveX Controls;..\..\Common" -I"..;..\ActiveX Controls;..\..\Common" -R"..;..\ActiveX Controls;..\..\Common" note no embedded drives letters ever allowed.

Maybe I wasn't clear... I'm not having problems with the paths in the cfg being relative, it's the units in the contains clause that dcc32 can't find.
