Did I bust something while I was trying to get a MySql connection working?

When I try to drag a dbExpress connection object to the EcoSpace, it won't
let me drop it. Is that right? Didn't it use to allow me to do that?

If it is supposed to drop, anybody got any clues as to what to do about it?

If you have copied the DLL's local sometimes you cannot create or modify
components on forms.

For instance, I set the referenced DLL for Interbase to 'Copy Local'.
Then it all starts going wrong.

If this is the problem then the solution is to turn off copy local,
compile, then restart the IDE for good measure.

Robin,

I think I found some documentation finally that said dbexpress was for
VCL only. I can drag the objects to a VCL form.
