Reading text from DB into RichTextBox problem
#104

Why is it that
RichTextBox1.Text := 'blablabla'#13#10#13#10'blablabla';
displays correctly as
"blablabla

blablabla"
but as soon as I read the very same text (including single quotes and all)
 from a database record field, all I get is
"'blablabla'#13#10#13#10'blablabla'"?
That's not what I need :-(

What do I have to do to the text in the DB so that it displays line breaks
when read out and assigned to the Text property of a RichTextBox?

TIA.

Brigitte

You need to have line breaks in BLOB (Memo) field, not #13#10. #13#10 exist
only in source code and is converted to CRLF during compilation.
