Hi! I am an IT prosefessional using Delphi with interbase/ms sql/ Firebird/
oracle/ DB2
for around 9 years and currently are in the mid of either want to convert my
company
standard application from win32 to .net platform. I did had some experience
on vb.net
but just found why there is a need to convert win32 application to .net
frameworks.
As I know Windows Vista also support win32, so why still need to convert it?
Can you guys advise me what is the main different between win32 and .net.
As I know the main different ;
1) Dot net are Code Management which less virus attack
2) In term of database speed compare between .net 1.1 and win32.
Win 32 are more faster. If compare with dot net 2, dot net 2 are
unstable.
3) Win32 are more user friendly.
So I just found why there is still a need to migrate all to dotnet

Win32 compatibility is still going to be around for a long time, even in the version after Vista. -- Marc Rohloff [TeamB] marc rohloff -at- myrealbox -dot- com
