I'm currently having an issue where i am using a MySQL database over an internet connection with very low bandwidth. Using a middletier i get data tables from the database, convert them to xml, compress the xml and send that over the line. This works well, and i gain approx a factor 10 in speed. But still, whenever a search needs to be done data needs to be sent back and forth. This can be eliminated by using a DataView on the clientside. I do know how to bind an entire DataTable to a TDBGrid (TDatasource actually) using AdoNetConnector, but i haven't found anything on how to do the same with a DataView, the AdoNetConnector doesn't allow for this, and you can't use the Table property of the DataView because that points back to the entire database, and not the resultset. So if anyone knows how to solve this puzzle please help! --
