Hi,

I have an application (Delphi 7) using Dbexpress: TSQLConnection,
TSqlQuery, TDataSetProviser, TClientDataSet linked to TDadatset for a
grid TDBGrid.

TClientDataSet retrieves and displays data fine but if I update a
record on
the DBGrid and call .Applyupdates(-1); for the ClientDataset I get a
"Impossible to modify data in read only" error.

This will be for a multi-tier application after.

Someone can help me please.
