Hi all.
I need some clarification concerning interbase and dbe.
What is the difference between the two.
I have created a GBD with this code.
var db:TIBDatabase;
strDir:string;
begin
db:= TIBDatabase.Create(db.Owner);
strDir:= getCurrentDir();
strDir:= strDir + '\' + 'Database';
db.Params.Add('USER "SYSDBA"');
db.Params.Add('PASSWORD "masterkey"');
db.Params.Add('PAGE_SIZE 4096');
db.DatabaseName:= strDir + '\' + 'Nineteenth.gdb';
db.CreateDatabase;
I would like to know when you create tables and queries do they get
stored into
the GBD? or do you have to create dbf tables and .sql files for queries.
I would also like to know how to link to the database administrator
programmaticly.
Thanks for help.
