I am using TService and Indy TIdTCPClient in a project that I takes incomming data from a socket, makes a http call and then sends the response back through the socket. The issue I am facing is managing the socket's connection. The server I connect to periodically drops my connection creating a Socket 10054 connection reset by peer exception. This Exception then STOPs the NT Service that it is contained in. Please could anyone assist with code or text that can guide me to the best way to recreate the connection from within my service whilst keeping the service running.
