For some reason Adobe apps tend to be very sensitive to the nShowCmd
variable.
Most apps take no notice of this, but Adobe apps must be non-standard
in
some way.

Try different values for this variable (eg SW_SHOWDEFAULT) to see if
this makes
any difference.
