Was wondering if there is a known way of adding a checkbox to a
TCheckListbox, but adding to top of list.

AddItem adds it to the bottom, and I don't see a method that allows
you move from one position to another.

The Insert method of the Items property (TStrings) of TCheckListBox
does what you need.  Pass the string to insert and the index at which
to insert the string (use 0 for the first item):

MyCheckListBox.Items.Insert(0, 'This will appear as the first item in
MyCheckListBox');
