Hi all. I want to create custom watch window. Is this possible ? If I have name of variable how can I on breakpoint: - determine the type of variable (at least for base integer and float types and for pointers on them) and size of array ? - get single value and values in array ? TIA. -- Alex

There is basic support to evaluate expressions while at breakpoints, and there is the ability to create a dockable window that you completely construct/manage yourself using normal VCL controls. There is a sample dockable window in the FAQ here: http://www.gexperts.org/opentools/ > If I have name of variable how can I on breakpoint: > - determine the type of variable (at least for base integer and float > types and for pointers on them) and size of array ? > - get single value and values in array ? IOTAThread50.Evaluate should be able to evaluate any expression that the normal watch window can evaluate. I don't know offhand if there is enough OTA support for getting the class/type details for an expression to do what you need, but you can do things like Object.ClassName, if that helps. Erik

Thank you again. -- Alex
