I'm running OptimizeIt at work where we have one floating license. I've installed it under Windows XP and it runs fine. When I try to install and run it in Linux, I experience problems with the license (I'm trying to start ./bin/Profiler). I've copied the license to the lib-directory but the program doesn't find it automatically. When choosing the file manually instead it complains that it cannot load it: # Activation file import failed. Activation file /opt/OptimizeitEntSuite2006/lib/concurrent_9575.slip cannot be loaded. Please obtain a valid activation file.(7009) # I also tried to choose a "nonsense"-file as activation file to see how the error message looked like: # Activation file import failed. Activation file /opt/OptimizeitEntSuite2006/info.html is invalid or corrupted. Please obtain a valid activation file.(7005) # Any clues on what might be the reason why the license file "cannot be loaded"? (I've tried activating full rights on the file, chmod) #Note, I'm running Ubuntu Linux (Debian-like dist) which is not listed among the linux dists on the Optimizeit web FAQ page. // Henrik
