I looked through QC to see if the problem was already listed.  I
did not find it.  Before I filed it with QC, I was curious if this 
issue was determined to be a problem with InterBase itself and not
a matter of operator error.

The root of this thread seemed to imply that some kind
of action was being taken on this issue.
