Hi!

I've installed InterBase, and the install logs do not show any error. ibmgr 
-startup however returns 

check $INTERBASE/interbase.log file for errors
can not start server

This file tells me

hostname (Server) date/time
  SERVER/process_packet: connection rejected for <user>

where <user> is either root or a newly created user interbase. I have been 
unable to find anything about this in the documentation - does anybody know 
this problem?
