Hi all IMHO there are fatal error with threading in IB Linux client (libgds.so), which makes using IB impossible in serious application on Linux. If application communicates with IB in more than one thread, SIGSEGV errors randomly occurred, always in IBX units during calls to IB client (functions with prefix "isc_"). Threading in Windows client (gds32.dll) seems to be ok. Tested on Kylix1, Kylix2, IB 6.01 and FB 1.00 RC2 both superservers. Maybe IB 6.5 have workaround, but I can't test it...? If somebody can help me, thank a lot Best regards Martin Schayna mschayna@aktis.cz Aktis a.s.
