I have had the same problem (thoug with Apache 1.3.11 and PHP3.14 on
RedHat 6.1).
I *solved* the problem in an ugly manner, but it worked :-)
The problem comes from the fact, that IB4 is compiled using glibc2.0,
and RedHat 6.1 comes with glibc2.1, where the symbols _xstat etc. are
missing.
In order of defining the missing symbols, I therefore added these
statements just before the #ENDIF statement in the bottom of
functions/interbase.c (in the PHP?directory):
/* Ugly hack to emulate _xstat (glibc2.0) in glibc2.1 */
#include <sys/stat.h>
int _fxstat __P ((int __ver, int __fildes, struct stat *__stat_buf))
{
return (__fxstat(__ver, __fildes, __stat_buf));
}
int _xstat __P ((int __ver, __const char *__filename, struct stat
*__stat_buf))
{
return (__xstat(__ver, __filename, __stat_buf));
}
int _lxstat __P ((int __ver, __const char *__filename, struct stat
*__stat_buf))
{
return (__lxstat(__ver, __filename, __stat_buf));
}
#include <setjmp.h>
int __setjmp __P ((jmp_buf __env, int __savemask))
{
return (__sigsetjmp (__env, __savemask));
}
It's not the way it *should* be done, but I had to try something ...
I haven't tried upgrading to the latest version of glibc (2.1.3),
which might solve the problem.
