I have a breif question. I have changed from IB6 Classic to IB6 SS on my Linux box, and re-downloaded Interclient 1.51, as I understoood there was a fix to work with SS. The problem I am getting is that while I can initiate a JDBC connection and do initial queries, if I leave the connection open for any length of time (ie half an hour) it appears to automatically reset. It appears to be doing this with both local connections (ie I assume via a pipe) and TCP/IP from other machines. The importnance here is that I am writing Servlets, and they create a pool of connections. These connections hang around for a long time (ie all the time the web server is running), so I don't want to have to make connections on the fly for performance reasons. The connection resets do not occur with Classic. Does anyone know of a fix, or if I am doing something wrong?
