I have heard that sweeping interbase could corrupt data. What is the recommended way of compressing IB 6.0 SuperServer on Linux? Our server has been running fine since July completely unattended - which is a good thing. Is there anything else that I can do to make sure that things continue to go smoothly? Thanks.

Be aware that IB will grow back out to about 20% empty space fairly quickly as it performs better not fully compressed. > Our server has been running fine since July completely unattended - which is > a good thing.
