ICJE2 Communication Error

i still receive the next error :

"ICJE2 - Communication Exception - Communication - A Socket exception
occurred trying to stablish a socket connection to server"

My configuratin:
Linux 2.2.17-14cl - Conectiva Linux 6.0 Server Edition (RH based)
IB 6 SS
JDK 1.2.2
JSDK 2.0
gnujsp 1.0.0
Jserv 1.1.2-1

All these softwares are working fine : servlets, jsp's, html, etc
i believe that my Path configuration, repositories, inetd.conf and
services are ok.

i can connect and create a database on Linux Interbase Server using
another
machine with tcp protocol running Win NT 4 with workbench, but on the
Linux machine via
interclient (java interbase.interclient.utils.CommDiag) the error
occurs.

i'd created a link named libncurses.so.4 that points to
libncurses.so.5.1 to Ibguard start, cause withouth that link a message
error "shared library not found" appears...

gds_db 3050 is running and listening...
interserver 3060/tcp configured and ibserver is running and lintening...

how i sayd, i can connect to Linux Server by another windows machine
using workbench by tcp protocol and alter objects, like tables,
procedures and more.

only in the Linux server that interclient crash, when i try to "java
interbase.interclient.utils.CommDiag", or using servlets or jsp programs
using interclient.jar....

The message "conection refused" occurs, but all is running ok (i think).
How i know if all necessary softwares(interbase, interclient) are
running, configures ok and listening????
Is a Linux Problem? JDK Problem? Configuration Problem?
libncurses.so.x.x affects the interclient or interbase functionality?
